An Article refers to a multi-paragraph, text-based file that may contain styling information, which is maintained as the file is imported. Examples of Article files include multi-paragraph Microsoft Word documents, RTF files, or QuarkXPress and Adobe InDesign tags files.

DesignMerge fully supports Article files for both Text and Box links in the document. All of the styling information is fully retained, and the imported text flows naturally, adhering to assigned runarounds, as you will see in the sample video.

DesignMerge also supports the embedding of Variables and Rules within the Article files, which allows you to include variable elements that are personalized at the same time the text is imported.
